We won tickets to the Antiques Roadshow! This would be my third time at a Roadshow. The first time was with my sister in Baltimore, MD, and then with my boyfriend (now husband) in Pittsburgh, PA. We have yet to come home with a "national treasure" in our possession, but we still have a good time. Plus, it's always a nice excuse to visit a new city, even if only for a weekend.
This time we won tickets to the show in Charleston, SC. Neither of us had been there before, but have always wanted to visit. I've been to Savannah, GA twice, and just as someone wrote in the guest book at the B&B where we stayed, Charleston really is "Savannah on steroids". In the very best way, that is.

We had this entire little house to ourselves. I mean LITTLE, but cozy. ↑
I know a lot of folks will know what I'm talking about when I say I felt like I was in the movie, The Holiday. (Except on a much smaller scale...and differences in weather. It was pretty hot and steamy in Charleston.)

We arrived on a Friday afternoon, and after getting acquainted with our B&B, we walked down to White Point Garden and along the Battery. Gorgeous town. So much to see.
Tomorrow I will talk more about Antiques Roadshow and give some of my observations and advice to any future roadshow attendees.
Thank you for visiting.
